During a conversation with Just Too Filmy, Vicky expressed his enthusiasm about working under Bhansali's direction. About the Delay of Love & War
Recently, Bollywood Hungama reported that Love & War is expected to miss its original Eid 2026 release date to prevent a box-office showdown with another film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.
As per the sources, the production is significantly behind its planned shooting timetable. The insider revealed, "This delay could be a blessing in disguise, as it would not make sense for two major pan-Indian films to release simultaneously. Love & War is lagging in its shooting schedule and is now set to debut in the latter half of 2026. There is still approximately 75 days of filming left, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has requested that Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal block out substantial dates through the summer of 2026 to complete the film."
